Wincie Armstrong Hayes was born to Benjamin Harrison and Flossie Lewis Armstrong in Wolf Bayou on September 21, 1934 and passed away on September 10, 2014 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. On May 30, 1953 she married Gerald Hayes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, Hulda Foust, Louise Foust, Artive Halsaver, Ethelene Reed, Emogene Reeves and one brother Robert Armstrong, and one beloved grandson, Scott Holt.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gerald Hayes, a son Verl Hayes (Jimmi) of Eupora, Mississippi, a daughter, Sherry Holt of Searcy, two grandsons, Bryan Holt and Daniel Hayes, a granddaughter Sarah Bunn (Aaron) of Arizona, three great-granddaughters, Tiana Bunn, Aryn Elizabeth Bunn, Bry Anna Holt, one great-grandson, Jackson Holt, a brother, Ben Armstrong (Melba) of Mishawaka, Indiana, two sisters, La Vern Jennings (John) of Wilburn, Arkansas, and Linda Vernon (Jerry) of Pangburn, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Friday, September 12, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Graveside Services at 10 AM Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Searcy.
