Amos ''Bud'' Carter, 84, of Marion, AR passed away September 8, 2014.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Henry and Birdie Carter.

He was a Navy veteran who served his country for 20 years and a member of Cypress Avenue Baptist Church in Marion, AR.

He is survived by his wife; Mary Carter of 59 years, 2 sons; Steve Carter (Mary Sue) of McRay, AR, David Carter (Cindy) of Marion, AR, 1 daughter; Beth Weakes (Terry) of Marion, AR, 2 grandchildren; Wesley Smith and Bradley Carter.
