My dad (her brother, Billy Ray Warren) insisted that I be named after her. I wish I had the privilege of knowing her better. My prayers go to her family. May she rest in peace.

We praise God for allowing us the honor of knowing and loving Miss Jean. She was always a comforter and encourager as she ministered to us and other members of her church family. Our long love and relationship with her earthly family is a source of happiness for us. Today, we know that she is living in Heaven with Jesus and all things are perfect.

Well, I've stared at this message board for quite some time trying to think of what to say. I still can't figure it out. Aunt Jean touched us all with her beauty, love, humor, and grace. I love you Uncle Derwood, Lynn, Robert, Ray.

I knew Jean through a Sunday School class at Central Baptist Church and thought she was a gracious person to all people she came in contact with. I would like to extend my condolences to her family during this difficult time. May The Lord grant the family comfort and peace not only at this time, but always.

Jean Johnson was an awesome mom and a great stong personality. Her son Robert is one of my closest friends, teamate, and blood brother. Jean raised a great man in Robert who has grown as a christian and married a beautiful strong women like his mom in Laurie and has also raised three beautiful children. Jean was always kind to me and I just recently visited with her at American Pie. Jean was love. The Johnson family is strong and Jean's footprints are all over this city with her family .

Jean was my best friend in excess of 30 years. A true friend indeed. We laughed together and cried together many times, more laughter than tears. I can't imagine no longer having her in my life. I know beyond a doubt that her children and grandchildren were her prized possessions. How she loved you all. Durwood was another love that she cherished. Please know that you are in my thoughts, prayers and heart constantly.

My sympathy to Durwood and the rest of the family. Jean was a lovely person, and had become a friend as well as a neighbor. I will miss waving to her, seeing her, and talking with her.

God bless,
