Frank Mueller, age 85, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014, in Mountain Home. He was born September 14, 1928, in Bajmok, Yugoslavia to Michael and Margareta (Usleber) Mueller. He was sponsored to arrive in the United States. He left Germany on a Troopship named General M.L. Hersey. He departed Bremerhafen bound for Ellis Island. He then proceeded to Chicago to assimilate into society. He served in the United States Army from November 16, 1953 until November 15, 1955. He obtained his citizenship June 8, 1955. He then became a Tool & Die maker for AT&T for 27 years. He moved to Mountain Home in 1987. He married Concepcion Herrera June 27, 1978, in Chicago, Illinois. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.
Mr. Mueller is survived by a son: Frank Mueller of Mountain Home, Arkansas, two daughters: Irene Ringeisen and husband Peter and Frances Mader and husband Joe all of Germany, a sister: Irene Schweibenz of Schaumburg, Illinois and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
A Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2014, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold Celebrant. A visitation will be Sunday from Noon until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m., with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
