Brenda Joyce Tubb, 72, of Little Rock went to rest with our Lord, Thursday, July 3, 2014. She was born February 5, 1942 to the late Clyde and Glennie Murphree in Lambert, Mississippi. She graduated from Central High School, Helena-West Helena in 1960. She also lived in White Hall and Russellville before retiring in Little Rock. Brenda was a homemaker and enjoyed camping trips with her family and especially going to the beach. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Frank Murphree; and brother-in-law, Sam Wierman.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas E. Tubb; one daughter, Cindy Tubb Mann (K.C.) of Arlington, Texas; one son, Andy Tubb (Paige) of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Daniel and Philip Mann; Kendall and Caleb Tubb, who were the light of her life; two sisters, Betty Wierman and Nancy Rose both of Russellville; two brothers, James Murphree of Russellville and John Murphree of Little Rock.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800. Family will receive friends at the service.
