Barbara J. Been, 77, of Clarksville, passed away May 22, 2014. She was born February 2, 1937, in Hartford, Arkansas, to the late Oval Richardson and Rachel (Howard) Richardson. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of the Clarksville Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for many years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Richardson and Dale Richardson.
Mrs. Been is survived by her husband, Myron Been of Clarksville; a son, Randy Been and wife, Stephanie, of Clarksville; two daughters, Rhonda Lorfing and husband, Chuck, of Clarksville and Janet Harmon and husband, Steve, of Lamar; four sisters, Virginia Burnett of Fort Smith, Juanita Thompson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ann McCoy of Houston, Texas, and Peggy Richardson of Texas; four brothers, Charles Richardson of Florida, Kenneth Richardson of Slatonville, Arkansas, Joe Richardson of Slatonville, Arkansas and Jerry Richardson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren, Kent Harmon, Clay Harmon, Sigrid Lorfing and Sydne Lorfing.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2014, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Oakland Cemetery, with Jake Chism officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Harmon, Chuck Lorfing, Elvin Brown, Don Sexton, Patrick Baker and Bob Frost.
