Clyde Lamoin "Bob" TrippI am a Veteran.

of Russellville, AR

September 12, 1922 - April 23, 2014

Clyde Lamoin ''Bob'' Tripp was born September 12, 1922 in Hector, Arkansas. Bob was raised in Malvern, AR. Bob lost the love of his life on March 27, 2014 after 68 years and 3 months of marriage. Love is such a powerful bond, and he couldn't bear to be apart from her. God being a merciful savior, granted his wish to join her in heaven on the morning of April 23rd at the age of 91.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Noah Scott Tripp, and Lela Sella Tripp; his wife Jessie Tripp, and one son Lamoin ''Bud'' Tripp. Bob owned a grocery store for several years in Malvern, AR before moving to Hobbs, NM and working for Brown Well Service. He spent 18+ years working for the company in oil fields in Eastern New Mexico and West Texas. Bob moved his family back to Little Rock, AR from there and worked in commercial sales for Sears Roebuck for 17 years before retiring. Bob was also a WWII veteran, having been drafted for service. He served in the European theater during the war, and was honorably discharged after 2 years of service. In retirement, Bob was very active, traveling with his wife Jessie cross the country on many occasions through the years. Both really enjoyed spending time with friends and meeting new people on their travels. In 1998, Bob and Jessie moved to Russellville, AR and lived there until their move to heaven's eternal home. Bob was a member of First Assembly of God in Russellville, AR.

Cherishing his memories are his daughter, Sharon Wilkerson of North Little Rock and son Scott Tripp of Bauxite. Bob had 5 grandchildren, Paul Wilkerson of Austin, Ron Wilkerson of North Little Rock, Callie Barnett of Haskell, and Noah and Jessica Tripp of Bauxite. Bob also was blessed with 3 great grandchildren, Faith, Heidi, and Landon Wilkerson. Bob was loved by many additional family and friends and will be truly missed. There will never be another Bob Tripp.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 with interment to follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery in Malvern, Arkansas.

Lamoin, You and Jessie were truly "one of a kind" people. You added to our family and gave examples of how marriage and life should be. I remember your "staying connected" with family even when you lived away, and you praying for our family every day. You both will be missed. Scott & Sharon please keep in touch.
