Mondell E. McNair, 86 of Quitman went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 10, 2014. He was born July 6, 1927 in Quitman to the late Benjamin Beese McNair and Daisy Alice Evans McNair. He was a Mason, a retired salesman and a member of Howard General Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Jessie Hodges McNair, two daughters, Betty Stancil of Greenbrier and Lisa Baker (Bubba) of Perryville and a grandson Dustin Wayne Baker with the US Marines. He was preceded in death by his brother Wayne Evans.
Services will be 11:00am Monday at Howard General Baptist Church in Quitman with burial in Center Point Cemetery with Bro. Terry Mote officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
Pallbearers are Bubba Baker, Bruce Ivy, Wayne Bennett, Loyd Phillips, Porter Bray and Carroll Rhoades.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Hall, B. L. Hodges, Eldin Hodges, Joel James and Eldon Tackett
