Larry E. Haynes 68, of Sherwood formerly of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014. He was born in Jonesboro to Charles and Betty Taylor Haynes. Larry was preceded in death by his father.
An Air Force Veteran, Larry worked for 27 years as a District Manager for Conwood Corporation, and after retiring he owned and operated B and M Flea Market in Jacksonville. He was an avid sportsman, fisherman and truly loved deer hunting.
Larry cared deeply and loved his family with all his heart. He was a generous, loving and caring husband, son, father and grandfather. All who knew him would agree he was patient, strong, honest and hard working. A great example of what a man should be, he will be missed greatly…
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; mother, Betty Haynes; two sons, Rodney Haynes (Kristi) of Joplin, MO and Robert Haynes (Deb) of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Kyle Haynes, Brooke Haynes, Caroline Haynes, Chase Haynes, Kyleigh Haynes and Kaden Haynes; sister-in-law, Debra Timms of Bono; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2014 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home Chapel,1900 West Washington Ave., Jonesboro, AR 72403 (870-932-3531). Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Walcott, AR. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements made by Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400).

I was so sorry to hear from Deloris about Larry's passing, but was so thankful that she did let me know. I enjoyed watching the video and seeing some familiar faces, as well as seeing those of your sons and grandchildren. I would love to reconnect with you if you will send me an email. In the meantime, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve.
