Charles Bernard Robins, 85, of Strawberry died March 24, 2014, at a local hospital.

Born July 26, 1928 in Jesup, Arkansas, he was the son of Ed Robins and Lois Campbell Robins. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of the OCAW International Union, Brotherhood of Boilermakers and on the board of Families First Foundation. He was a member of Strawberry Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Birteen Milligan Robins of Strawberry; a daughter, Tammy Barnett and her husband, Dennis, of Harrison; a stepson, William Dale Walker of Strawberry; a sister, Mollie Guthrie of Lebanon, Illinois; two grandchildren, Eric Jones and Lindsey Jones; five step-grandchildren, Jennifer Wright, Christie Nunnally, Andrea Walker, Ashley Boyer and Alan Brannon; four great-grandchildren, Skylee Jones, Emma Jones, Ava Jones and Carley Rogers; ten step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Martha Ferguson Robins; two sons, Gary Robins and Scott Robins; and two brothers, Junior Robins and Joe Robins.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Roller-Crouch McGee Chapel in Cave City with Tommy Boles officiating. Arrangements are by Roller-Crouch McGee Funeral Home in Cave City.
