May God bless you with His comfort and peace. The first I remember of Bud Poor was him and Daddy playing baseball together. Then Bud, Virgie, Norma Jean and I were all baptized at the same time by Bro. Perry Fitchue. Later Virgie was my SS teacher. Good friends and neighbors for many years. Prayers to the family.
My thoughts and prayers are with Virgie , Terry , Joe , Tammy and extended family of a very special guy. I will always remember the fun times we had with Bud as he coached the kids at Omaha. My daddy would always tell me that Bud probably had forgotten more basketball than most coaches will ever know in a lifetime. I know that Bud touched a lot of lives (on and off the basketball court) and he will be missed by all of us. Sending all my love , Diane ...
Laurie and I were sad to see the passing of Bud, but we realize that he is in a much better place. To all of his family please accept our heartfelt condolences during this time. Don and Laurie Milam.
