Wanda Faye Duggan, age 69, of Omaha, passed on Friday, February 21, 2014 in Harrison. She was born Saturday, December 30, 1944 in Kellyville, Oklahoma to Robert Ray and Mildred Irene Layton Davidson.
Wanda was a longtime member of Lakeland Baptist Church. She married William Duggan February 14, 1965 in Branson, Missouri. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, gospel music, going to church and her cats. Her family was her stronghold and her grandchildren were her world.
Wanda is survived by her husband William of the home; son: William Ray Duggan and wife Sheryl of Omaha; daughter: Debora Carter and husband James of Omaha, sisters, Donna Dunn, Shirlie Curbow, Rosie Burningham and Goldie Bryant; four grandchildren: Jessica and Melissa Carter, Danielle Duggan, Bobby and wife Kendra Duggan; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and several other loved ones.
Funeral services was Thursday at Lakeland Baptist Church in Omaha with Carl Garvin officiating.
Visitation was Wednesday, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Interment was in New Hope Cemetery, Omaha, AR.
Pallbearers were Rick Dunn, Don Dunn, Tommy Burningham, Robert Curbow, Lawrence Blevins, Randy Hughey
Honorary Pallbearers were Dean Curbow, Gary Keys and James Carter
Floyd and family of Fay: My wife and I thank you for the many wonderful visits we had together. Fay loved her husband and children dearly. Grand children, you were a most special bright spot in her life!!! Her love for you all was very real and she always spoke of that. She also loved her Savior and spoke of Him often. We will miss her.
