Take comfort in knowing that your dad is with your mom, his mom and dad, his Uncle Lawrece and all his family members that he has missed dearly. Billy Gerald was great to work with. Well liked and respected by everyone at the Baton Rouge Fire Dept. I was fortunate to work with him on numerous occasions. A lot of great memories. Our heart-felt condolences to Mark, Sharon, Stacy and your families. Billy Gerald was a wonderful guy. I really enjoyed working with him at the Baton Rouge Fire Dept He was a "professional firefighter" and his sense of humor and his good nature was always present. I know the reunion he is having with Joby, Uncle Bidy, Aunt Dot, my daddy Lawrence and the rest of his family is something special. My mother Beatrice sends her thoughts and prayers. We love you and wish you peace at this most trying time.
