Alene Louise Core, 79, of Conway, AR passed from this life on January 16, 2014 in Little Rock, AR. She was born on April 26, 1934 to the late Orville Rowland and Odessa Jones in Houston, TX. Alene worked as a CNA at St. John's Hospital for many years, was a foster grandparent at Faulkner County Day school, and attended Cornerstone Bible Church in Conway.
She is survived by one son; Steve Wagner, two daughters; Kathy Shultz, Renee Hudson (Robert), two step-sons; Mike Core (Irra), Chris Core, four grandchildren; Alisha Hudson, Brandon Wagner, Cameille Wagner, Rachel Core, and many loving friends. Alene is also preceded in death by her husband Robert ''Bob'' Core, and one brother; Cecil Rowland.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Cornerstone Bible Church in Conway at 12pm. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
In Lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to the Faulkner County Day School or Cornerstone Bible Church.

I worked with Grandma at FCDS. She would crack me up when she talked on her cell phone. She loved her family and friends, that's for sure!! So blessed we were able to work together for so many years! I know her family will miss her and I will too!

Grandma Alene was the foster grandparent were I work at and she had both of my boys she was so loving and careing to both of my boy I will miss u but one day I'll see u again
