Jerry G. Williams, age 71, of Omaha, Arkansas, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013, in Springfield, Missouri. He was born in Anderson Flat, Arkansas to Clyde and Iva (Ryals) Williams July 8, 1942. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; Debra Sue (Smith) Williams; his sister, Joyce Nichols; his brother-in-law, Elmer John Nichols; and two infant children.

Jerry is survived by his daughters & son-in-law, Dawn and Ray White of Western Grove, Arkansas and Christina Williams of Harrison, Arkansas; his step-daughter and her husband, Farrah and David Upton, of Bellefonte, Arkansas; his sister, Barbara Spears, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Leslie Stacy, Samantha Cooper, Samantha Davis, Derek Williams, Katelyn Williams, Shaleena White, Logan White, Mickey Upton and Skyler Upton; and his great-grandchildren, Zane Clark and Allyssa Davis.

A remark from his daughter Christine:
"A great experience of his life was his corvette. My dad loved fast cars. He loved to play cards and apparently he was pretty good at it. In his later years he was searching to become a better person. He loved his sisters and his family. He will be missed."



Visitation was Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Service was Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Bro. Dennis Sisco officiating.

Burial was in Crawford Cemetery in Everton, Arkansas.

Pallbearers were Sam Nichols, Johnny Nichols, Michael Starkey, Ray White, David Upton and Osmundo Garca.

Honorary Pallbearers were Jerry's card playing buddies and his Coffee Shop Friends.

I only knew Jerry from his visits to the store where I work. He was always smiling and cheerful, and a pleasure to talk to. I will miss his sweet spirit.

I pray God will comfort his family and friends.
