Scott Lee Mahler, age 45, of Omaha, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013, in Harrison. He was born March 17, 1968, the son of Garry and Jean (Huffman) Mahler. Scott was preceded in death by his mother; his son, Stephen; a brother, Bradley Keith Mahler; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Scott was a 1986 graduate of Omaha High School. He loved the outdoors and his dog. He was a mechanic and could work on anything.

Scott is survived by his father, Garry Mahler, of Omaha, Arkansas; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeffery Mahler, James Robert Mahler, and Ronald Mahler, all of Omaha, Arkansas, and Russell and Jimmie Lou Mahler and Don and Rhonda Mahler, all of Harrison; and his sisters and brother-in-law, Cristy and Justin Williamson of Omaha and Lorie Jones of Springdale, Arkansas.

Scott is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Dean and Patsy Huffman, of Omaha; his nieces and nephews, Joseph Mahler, Victoria Mahler, Matthew Mahler, Lindsey Jones, Bradley Jones, Tyler Jones, Falyn Williamson and R. J. Williamson; and a host of many friends.




Graveside service was Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Sand Hill Cemetery, with Ricky Brisco officiating.

Scott's brothers served as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers were Bradley Jones, Tyler Jones, Dean Huffman, Justin Williamson, Joseph Mahler and Matthew Mahler.
