Amelia Lashaye Bright, age 3, of Harrison, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013, in Harrison. She was born January 18, 2010, in Harrison, the daughter of Austin and Shavon (McAllister) Bright. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, Amelia is survived by her sister, Cahley Bright, and her brother, Matthew Bright, all of Harrison; her grandparents, David and Jane Bright, Sherry McAllister, and Jack McAllister; her great-grandmothers, Nina Bright and Florence Wilson; and a host of other family.
Visitation was Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral service was Monday, July 22, 2013, at Shiloh Baptist Church, with Bro. Michael Berkley officiating.
Interment was in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
You all have been lifted up in my prayers and will continue to be for a long time. May you find comfort knowing that little Mia is strong and happy now.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious baby. Each of you took such tremendous, unending care of her. Your devotion was always amazing and will serve as a loving example for other families on how to provide the devoted attention to a child with special needs. We can't imagine the pain and loss you feel as a parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle, aunt & cousin. May the many wonderful memories you have of her provide a comfort in the days & years to follow.
