Donald ''Don'' Martin Linde age 74 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away June 15, 2013 in Harrison. The son of Otto & Grace Louise (Baird) Linde, Jr. He was born June 9, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York. Don was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Arthur Linde; and his sister, Dorothy Hagmann.
Don retired from the Harrison Police Department with many years of loyal service to the community. He was a member of the Masonic Temple of Harrison and Eastern Star of Bellefonte. Don was a collector of antique glass and was an Atlanta Braves fan. He was proud of his family and loved them dearly.
He is survived by his wife Edna Linde of the home, sons and daughter-in-laws; David & Patricia Linde of Honolulu, Hawaii, Daniel & Windy Linde of Springfield, Missouri, daughter and son-in-law; Dorothy & James Gibson of Harrison, Arkansas, step-son and wife Dennis & Jenny Wilson of Harrison, Arkansas, step-son; Garry Willson of Springdale, Arkansas and step-daughter and husband; Donna & Josh Pommell of Memphis, Tennessee. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service was Friday, June 21, 2013 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Brother John Darnall officiating.

I knew Don from working with him at the HPD, he was a good officer who always treated people fairly both on and off the job. He will be missed by family and friends, may he rest in peace.
