of Compton, AR
May 29, 1929 - May 24, 2013
Ada Beaver, age 83, of Compton, Arkansas, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, in Harrison. She was born May 29, 1929, in Ponca, Arkansas, the daughter of Elliott Joshep and Josie (Eoff) Eastep, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Grover Beaver; her son, Roger Dale Beaver; her daughter, Debbie Arlene Beaver; a sister; and five brothers.
Ada was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Church. She married Grover Leroy Beaver on November 30, 1946. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, her church, and Compton Busy Bees. Her favorite enjoyment was church, family, and being around her grandchildren.
One of Ada's special qualities was sharing the love of Jesus. She witnessed to everyone she came in contact with. She would always say ''I Love You, but God Loves you More''. She took care of several kids in her home, and like a mother to many. She was known as ''Granny Adie'' to the kids in the community. She will always be commended for the love and care she had for taking care of her bedfast husband for 3 ½ years. She truly had a heart of gold, always putting herself last.
Ada is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Willard Villines of Compton, Beth Melton of Harrison, and Rhonda and Danny Villines and Sharon and Danny Woods, all of Compton; eight grandchildren, Stacey Villines, Kelsey Villines, Wynette Villines, Travis Woods, Tracey Ohler, Vanessa Cline, Megan Hovis and Latoshia Caldwell; ten great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a host of other family; and many dear friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral service was Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at New Hope Full Gospel Church, Compton, Arkansas, with Bro. Donnie Villines, Bro. Stacey Villines, and Bro. Kelsey Villines officiating.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Scott Ferguson, Angie Youngblood, Willard Villines, Dr. Kevin Jackson, Danny Villines, Linda Moulder, Steve Holt, Danny Woods and Ada's friends at Newton Cuonty Senior Center.
