Sylvia Wright, died April 6, 2013, in Dallas, Texas where she has lived the past few years. She was born in Saline County, Arkansas, September 12, 1925, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Enoch and Bernice (Buckelew) Hammonds. Sylvia grew up in Malvern, Arkansas, and graduated Malvern High School in 1944. She lived several years in Springfield, Missouri, and many years in Harrison.

Sylvia was a member of ''The Fun Loving Four'', a group of ladies that traveled to many places enjoying all the sights and wonders of the USA. She also delighted traveling in Europe. She was a Christian and had been active in her church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son David Russell Wright; the father of her children, Billy Brandon Wright; a sister Velva Rhea; a brother Delton Hammonds and numerous friends.

She is survived by; one daughter Mary Leta Greenhaw of Dallas; three grandsons, Brandon and wife Anne Greenhaw of Boulder, Colorado; Joshua Greenhaw of Dallas, Texas; and Joseph Greenhaw of Denton, Texas; one great grandson Judge Greenhaw of Boulder, Colorado; a sister Bonita Cunningham of Malvern, Arkansas; two nieces, Brenda Otwell and Debby Stumbaugh; and a nephew John Cunningham.

Graveside service was Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday morning at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
