I am so deeply saddened to learn of Shorty's passing. I had
always heard about Shorty from Uncle Junior and Doo-dle-doo
(Mildred Ruth) and especially about their coon hunting trips
and Shorty's granddaughter. I was very happy to get to meet
him at Bristol Pointe when Uncle Jr. introduced us. I so
enjoyed visiting with Shorty whenever I visited Doo-dle-doo.
He was so pleasant and cheerful and laughing and kind.
I shall miss him very much.
May God bless you during this difficult time. I shall be
praying for all of you.

Kathy and David and family,
I'm so sorry for the passing of your dad. Shorty, will be greatly missed. When I would go to Bristol Pointe, he would always yell at me and put his hand out for me. I would shake his hand and he always had something to say to me. I know that there is a great reunion in Heaven. Sending my love and thoughts and prayers!
