Rodger Dale Robinson, age 58, of Yardelle, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013, at his home. He was born July 27, 1954, in Harrison, the son of James Garland and Doratha Julia (Doane) Robinson, who preceded him in death.
Rodger married Joye Young at Western Grove, Arkansas, December 28, 1972. He had been a lifelong carpenter for 41 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his family and friends.
Rodger is survived by his loving wife, Joye Robinson, of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Tina Robinson, of Yardelle; his daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Paul Sexton of Marble Falls, Arkansas and Melissa and Dustin Lowery of Valley Springs, Arkansas; and eleven grandchildren.
Rodger is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Eddie Estes, of Harrison; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Florene Robinson of Lead Hill, Arkansas, Tommy and Teresa Robinson of Western Grove, Arkansas, and Jimmy Robinson of Harrison; and a host of other family and many dear friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral service was Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Bro. Dennis Sisco and Bro. Jim Bryant officiating.
Interment was in Western Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jim Young, Rodney Wilburn, Paul Martin, Billy Bower, Ron Lee and Clifford Sisco.
Honorary pallbearers were Johnny Robinson, Tommy Robinson, Jimmy Robinson, Eddie Estes and Dr. Roy Lee.

Rodger was always willing to lend a helping hand. We will certainly miss him and his sense of humor! We know that as sad as we are, Granny & Papa were happy to see him and that we also will see him again in Heaven! Your whole family is in our thoughts and prayers.
