Jessie Scott, 71, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in Caulksville. He was born on January 22, 1942 in Paris, Arkansas to his parents Bob and Lela (Rathburn) Scott. He was a retired truck driver for Tyson Foods and a United States Army Veteran.

Jessie is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Lela Scott, one sister, Mary Weymouth and two brothers, Henry Scott and Eugene Scott.

Jessie is survived by his sons, Mark Scott of Ratcliff and Robert Scott of Fort Smith; three sisters, Lilly Mae McGuire of Paris, Judy McGuire of Paris and Betty Inman of Paris; four brothers, Jack Scott of Fort Smith, Bill Scott of Booneville, Floyd Scott of Alma and Harold Scott of Paris and two grandsons, Matthew Scott and Jacob Scott. Two step-grandsons Gerhard Nehus and Cody Nehus.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

I didn't know Mr. Jessie passed away, we have been trying to get in touch with him or his sons Mark and Robert , please call us at 318-359-6900 or 318-305-4680. My momma Ms. Nancy needed to speak to someone, she love Mr. Jessie very much . Please called these number , very important. Thank you, very much. So sorry to find out and hear about him. Judy i am sorry to hear about the passing of ur brother i will be praying for u and all of ur family that God will give u alll peace and love during this time of grief and sorrow. I didn't know him but i have known u for years my dear school chum and i know the loss of a family member is hard anytime no matter what. I love u and ur family bless u
