I am so sorry to hear of the passing of this dear sweet woman Evelyn Friddle. I came to know her when i married Ricky Moffet her son-in-law Marvin's brother and got the opportunity to spend some super fun times with her and family get togethers. She would be at Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings held at the Moffets and she always had a fun and kind spirit that u could only love. We would sit together at Linda n Chuck Parsons house and share a meal and visit and laugh an just enjoy life and each others company. My prayers go out to all of the family out there i know that she will be dearly missed i am glad that i got to spend some time with her when she was in the nursing home she was and is and always be a loved lady. God's speed to u Evelyn a new angel in heaven.

I was sad to see Evelyn's name among those on the Roller obituaries. I have known her all my life and have so many memories of going to Driggs with my Grandmother Jessie Biggs for Extention Club meetings, Quilting Club, pie suppers, etc. and seeing Evelyn there. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May God Bless and comfort you in your sadness.

I so hated to hear that my long time friend had left us. Had so many good times at her and Vondell's house. Like Paula said they would get together once a week and play rook. One week at our house, then theirs, then at the Parker's. We kids had so much fun. Course I had a crush on Donald, so that made it more fun..Never forget when Kay fell in big hole at their place. Scared me to death..Rest in Peace Evelyn..Love you...

I can't rememver a time when I didn't know Evelyn. Growing up at Driggs our closest neighbor was Evelyn, Vondal, Donald and Darlene. Sonja and I played childhood games with Donald. Darlene was "too big" for our games, being almost a teenager ha. What I remember most about Evelyn were the weekly Rook games . Mama and Evelyn were partners pitted against "Daddy and "Vondal. Most times Vondal and my "Dad would win the game. But Mama and Evelyn were determined to win their share. It was a lively, fun time for them and for us, as spectators. W hen we relocated to Paris the games continued until Vondal's death. Those were happy times and I remember them with kindness and longing for such times again. Donald and Darlene, know that I hated to see this obit, but you had your Mom a very long time, which I guess was balanced by the early death of your Dad. Love, Paula.
