James Henry Copsy, 68 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on May 13, 1944 in San Fernando, California to his parents Harry and Hazel (Cardin) Copsy. He was a retired respiratory therapist for Sparks Medical Center and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Copsy.
He is survived by his mother, Hazel Copsy of Paris, Arkansas; daughter Christine Copsy of Santa Barbara, California; brother Troy Copsy and wife Ferdos of Paris, Arkansas; nephews, Troy Ray Copsy and wife Marie of Castro Valley, California and Chad Copsy and wife Debbi of Paris, Arkansas; great nephews, Brandon Copsy of Sacramento, California, Taylor Copsy of Paris, Arkansas and Brent Liebe of Castro Valley, California; one great-great nephew, Cooper Sewell Copsy and numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Chad Copsy, Troy Ray Copsy, Taylor Copsy and Randy Rumsey.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Jimmie Elzy, 307 E. Klan St., Paris, AR 72855.
