Stella Frances Moore, age 102, of Rogers, AR, formerly of Harrison, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012, in Rogers. She was born November 28, 1910, in Harrison, the daughter of Asberry Hickman and Fannie Belle (Chandler) Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester Claude Moore; her sons, Kenneth Moore and Don Moore; two brothers; and three sisters.
Stella was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Harrison. She was a strong woman, the family encourager, a great cook, and a dairy farmer for many years. She invested in the lives of 28 foster children in her life time.
She is survived by a sister, Hilda McEuen, of McRae, AR; two daughter-in-laws: Barbara Moore of Rogers, AR and Imogene Moore of West Plains, MO; her grandchildren, Kay Hinkle and Husband Chris of Tulsa, OK, Keith Moore and wife Susan of Rogers, AR, and Pam Lockhart and husband Howard of West Plains, MO; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Stella is also survived by her foster children, Rose Miller of Lead Hill, AR and Nevelta Smith and Ruby Randall, both of Huntsville, AR.
Funeral service was Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Todd Stanley officiating.
Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Zach Moore, Timothy Moore, Steve Kelley, R.A. Simmons, Howard Lockhart, and Chris Hinkle.
Honorary pallbearer was Jonathan Moore.
My dear friend was "Dreaming of a Right Christmas" this year and she celebrated it with her husband, her sons and others that have gone before!
How we loved her! She was a mentor, a counselor, friend and such an inspiration!
What a legacy she leaves behind...

I never had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Stella, but from the memories that Zach has shared with us, it sounds like she was truly a special and inspiring woman. Stella was a wonderful neighbor and friend. I;m sorry for your loss, but she hada long and Godly life. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I think of Sister Moore each Tuesday when I help the ladies quilt at chuch. Stella was always there and with a story we all enjoyed. I have missed her and family in church. Gerald and I extend our prayers and sympathy to all of you.

We will miss our Aunt Stella more than words can begin to say. She has been a major part of mine and my famiily lives. Her love for the Lord, her family and all who come in contact with her has always shined brightly to those around her. She always had a sweet smile and quick wit, a sharp mind and a joy to all. We thank God for giving us the full 102 yrs and rejoice with her on her homecoming in the Lords house.
