Marion C. Tidwell, 87, of Corning, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Corning. Mrs. Tidwell was born May 27, 1925 at Plainview, Arkansas to the late Frank Buckner and the late Ethyle Gregory Buckner.
She is survived by a daughter, Marion Alice Hibbs; grandchildren, Jason Tidwell, Jill Tidwell, Pat Ryan, Matt Ryan and Jimmy Adams, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Briar Mullins, Brittney Tidwell and Hunter Tidwell; and a great-great-grandchild, Deliah Rose Tidwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Tidwell; two sisters and two brothers.
Services for Marion Tidwell will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12 -2 p.m., Saturday at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Rex Jones will officiate.
Pallbearers are Matt Ryan, Jimmy Adams, Larry Gregory, Carl Gregory, Vernon Morrell and Pat Ryan. Honorary pallbearer is Don Woodard.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

Marion was a special lady to our family. My brothers and dad (Pug) ate at her house more than they ate at ours. She was a lovely person who made everyone feel like family. She never met a stranger passing out hugs to everyone.
