Pam Brewer Brokaw, 57, of Batesville, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at White River Medical Center.
She was born in Newport, Arkansas on February 15, 1955 and was the daughter of Lowell Brewer and Janice (Tilley) Brewer. She graduated from Vo-Tec and had worked as a sales clerk in convenient stores where she was a manager for several years. She also was a grocery clerk. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and was faithful to her family and church. She was a member of Store Front Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Ira Brokaw of Batesville; a son, Mac Brokaw also of Batesville; a god-daughter, Jaime Brewer of Evansville, IN; three grandchildren: Brandon, Bryce and Emma Brokaw; her mother, Janice Brewer of Newark; two brothers: Bob Brewer of South Haven, MI and Jim Brewer of Newark; a sister, Kim Simmermon of McKinney, TX; nieces, nephews, many friends and church family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Brewer; a sister, Pat Teague; and a granddaughter, Ella Brokaw.
Pallbearers are James Harris, Scott Harris, Michael Harris, Ricky Harris, Matthew Harris, Andrew Harris, Hank Rounds, Shane Martin, and Shannon White. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Brokaw and Bryce Brokaw.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville with Ira Brokaw and Ricky Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver's Chapel Cemetery north of Batesville.
Visitation is from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Store Front Pentecostal Church, 3765 N. St. Louis St., Batesville, AR 72501.
