Mrs. Doris M. Parker, age 85, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Hiram Shaddox Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mountain Home.
She was born April 8, 1927, in Shaker Heights, Ohio, to John and Margaret Ann Reinhart Gedeon. Mrs. Parker was the owner of Doris Parker Realty in Mountain Home and was a member of the National Association of Realtors, Arkansas Realtors Association and the North Central Board of Realtors. She was on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Water Authority since 1976 and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Survivors include five nephews and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James C. ''Pete'' Parker who died in 1974, and by four brothers: John, Louis, Theodore and George Gedeon.
A Memorial Service will be Monday, June 25, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Easterling officiating. Interment will be private. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or to your favorite charity.
