Mary Jessie King Ward, 81, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away June 16, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Ward was born October 19, 1930 in Prescott, Arkansas to the late William Richman and Bessie Jewell Hogan Porter. She was a retired big truck escort and of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the VFW of West Memphis, Arkansas and president of LaFemme Society.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband, Brady Ward of Butler, Tennessee; son, Sennie Wilson (Janice) of Marion, Arkansas; two daughters, Mary Carrol Brown (Ivan) of Forrest City, Arkansas and Leilani Wilson (Angoustro) of California; seven grandchildren, Robert Brown, Jr., Rebeckah Ainsworth, Dana Bailey, Tonya Smith, Melinda Rodgers, Sennie Wilson, Jr. and Jessie White; fourteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Mabel Rogers (Jessie) of Cleveland, Texas.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 2:00 until 5:00 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena (870) 572-2571.
