On behalf of my mother, Rosemary Cauthron, and myself, we wish to extend our deepest sympathy. May the Lord bring you comfort in this difficult time, but also joy in knowing your Mom finished the race and the Lord welcomed her into His eternal home.

May these words recorded at Isaiah 25:8 be of much comfort to you and your family during this time of deep sorrow. "He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken |it.”

I would like to give my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Irene Hatch Merritt. I did not know her personally, but I am sure that she was loved very much and will be missed dearly. Losing someone you love in death can be a very difficult experience to go through, often feeling much sadness and pain. However, please know that you are not alone during this time. You can be sure that God takes notice of the sadness that you feel (1 Peter 5:7). He has promised that soon, no one will lose a loved one in death again (Isaiah 25:8). We can also look forward to the time promised when we can enjoy life once again with our dear loved ones who have died (John 5:28,29). I hope that these few thoughts will provide a measure of comfort during your time of sorrow.
