Frances Louise Chaney

of England, AR

July 6, 1930 - June 14, 2012

Frances Louise Good Chaney of England, departed this world, Thursday June 14, 2012 to spend glorious eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after an all too brief battle with cancer. She was born in England to Henry and Louise Galloway Good on July 6, 1930 and was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of England.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Walter Carroll Chaney Sr. of England; son; Carroll Chaney of Little Rock; daughter; Laura Chaney (Chad) Hill of Siloam Springs; siblings; Lyda Sue Good Bowie of Little Rock and Eldon B. Good (Joyce) of Stuttgart; grandchildren; Lee, Sarah, Rachel, Will and Rebekah, twelve nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Mark Wayne Chaney of England and a brother, Dr. Henry Harrison Good of Little Rock.
Ms. Frances was a civic minded individual and served on the England School Board and as church secretary for First Baptist Church. She loved going to the Symphony and the Art Center in Little Rock. She was a wonderful cook and loved to feed family and friends. Nobody ever left her house on an empty stomach, and those who were truly lucky got to enjoy her chicken spaghetti and banana nut bread. She loved to talk politics and did so from a practical perspective and always on a sound factual basis. She was strong, strong willed and stoic and made sure that her family's needs were met before those of her own. Ms Frances was thoughtful and generous and anyone who ever met her must surely have been impressed by her character.
There will be no formal visitation. Graveside Service will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Tomberlin Cemetery, Coy, Arkansas, officiated by Bro John R. Hagan of Pine Bluff. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society 901 North University Ave. Little Rock AR 72207-6354 or Humane Society of Pulaski County 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72210.
