Cloyce Elizabeth Risner, 69 of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away June 8, 2012. She was born May 16, 1943 at Mountain View, Arkansas to Truman and Mavis (Poff) Kemp. She was a member of Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church. She worked for many years as the federal programs coordinator for Mountain View High School.
She is survived by her husband, Benny Risner; son, Brad Risner and wife Leah of Russellville, AR; daughters: Patricia Ross and husband Robert of Fox, AR and Lesia Morris and husband Wayne of Mountain View, AR; brother Don Kemp and wife Nora of Vilonia, AR; sister Ann Johnson and husband Freddie Joe of Camden, AR; grandchildren: Matt Ross, Jordan Ross and wife Courtney, Anna Elizabeth Ross Hayes and husband Dustin, Magen Morris Brown and husband Christopher, Morgen Morris, Allison Risner, and Braden Risner; great-grandchildren: Carmen Ross, Jonah Hayes, Khloe Elizabeth Hayes, and Kinlee Brown will be born in September.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Truman and Mavis Kemp; brother, Dean Kemp.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Morell and Will Thompson.
Pallbearer will be Victor Setser, Weldon Duncan, Larry Sullivan, Danny Thomas, Fred Ward, Ronnie Risner, John Scroggins, and Randy Bangs.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
My memories of Cloyce and I sharing such a close friendship as young girls deepen and I am thankful for the time we shared remembering those days. I look to the day we will walk those fields together in heaven.

Ms. Risner has touched many lives, including our families and children. She stepped up to help when I first moved to Mtn. View.I was overwhelmed with the transition and getting the children ready for school. I will always remember her help and kindness. Praying now for God's comfort and peace to the families.

Danna and I want you to know the Risner Family is in our prayers at this time. Mrs. Cloyce always impressed me when I was around her by the kind and wonderful attitude she displayed. I pray that God will comfort you as only he can.
