Lois Margaret Trusty

of Springdale, AR

June 13, 1930 - May 7, 2012

Lois Robinson Trusty, 81, a life-long resident of Logan and Johnson counties, died May 7, 2012 at the Maples Nursing Home in Springdale, AR, where she has been a patient since June 2011. She was born June 13, 1930, the youngest daughter of Cecil and Lula Utley Robinson. She was formerly married to Glynn Trusty of Paris, who preceded her in death in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her son, Mack Trusty, in 2006, by her great grandson, Connor Billingsley, in 2003 and by two brothers, two sisters and her parents.

She is survived by her children and their families: Glynn Trusty and Jane of Springdale, Steven Trusty and Marilyn of Hot Springs, Cheryl Price and Charles of Siloam Springs, and Reba Trusty Curtis and Brad of Paris. Additional survivors include her grandchildren: Kimberly Krueger and Jeremy of Springdale, Kristen Billingsley and Bryan of Springdale, Landon Trusty and Erica of Hot springs, Megan Bertin and Nick of Conway and Caden Price of Siloam Springs. Great grandchildren include Kaylynn Bates, Jaxon and Kwency Krueger, Brady, Brock and Brooklynn Billingsley, and Madison and Samuel Trusty of Hot Springs. She is also survived by one sister, Evelyn Lowery of Ft. Smith, numerous nieces and nephews, and one very special friend, Donald "Spike" Feikema of Clarksville.

Lois graduated from Paris High School with the Class of 1956, eight years after her original graduation date. She was one of the first to return to high school and complete her diploma after starting a family. She was well known to many residents in the Paris area for her work in the grade school cafeteria, for her work as a cashier in various grocery stores, and for her work in caring for the elderly and nursing home residents, before she became one. She was formerly a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Paris.

Visitation will be held from 1:30-3:00 P.M. on Saturday May 12, 2012 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Glynn Trusty officiating. Burial will be in the Elizabeth Hall cemetery in New Blaine, near her childhood home. Her legacy consists of the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that she leaves behind her. "Her children will arise and call her blessed." Proverbs 31:28. Well done, Mom. We love you, we will miss you, but we will see you soon. Say hello to our loved ones who are already there.

"When your heart has beat for the last time, there's only one thing that God the Father will be looking for at the gates of eternity: Jesus, His Son, with His arm around your shoulder saying, 'This one is with Me.'

"We take comfort in the fact that she has left this temporary home and gone to a beautiful place called heaven where there is no sorrow or tears, no suffering or pain or fear, but a continual fellowship with her Heavenly Father and the loved ones who have gone before, and there will be no more death/' (Author unknown)

What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, what no human mind can imagine - these are the things that God has prepared for those who love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9.
