William T. Conkin Sr., 85 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012 in Paris. He was born on September 12, 1926 in El Paso, Arkansas to his parents Authur and Wyu (Short) Conkin. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, dairy farmer and fifty year member of the First Baptist Church in Ratcliff.
William is preceded in death by his parents Authur and Wyu Conkin and one sister Patricia Heard.
William is survived by his wife of 53 years Neoma Conkin of Paris, one daughter Teresa McClure of Paris, two sons William Thomas Conkin Jr. and Kevin Conkin both of Paris, six grandchildren and one great grandson.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday May 7, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Ratcliff with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Coby Henley, Anthony Conkin, Payton McClure, Charlie Conkin, Jonathan McMillon and Floyd McClure.
Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Conkin and Robert Earl James.
