Darrow Lee Tritt, 84 of Magazine, Arkansas passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on February 26, 1928 in Prairie View, Arkansas to his parents Buster and Iva (Parks) Tritt. He served as a Merchant Marine for over 31 years with the Atlantic Richfield Company, was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Darrow is preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Iva Tritt and two brothers Chester Tritt and Buster Tritt.

Darrow is survived by his wife of 15 years Nanita B. (Benerado) Tritt of Magazine, Arkansas, three daughters, Linda Schaffer of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, French B. Tritt of Van Buren, Arkansas and Noime T. Johnson of Maryester, Florida, two sons, Darrow Tritt Jr. of New Jersey and Dennis B. Tritt of Fort Smith, Arkansas and seven grandchildren Eric, David, Michael, Tony and Amber Sheppard, Danntte T. Chansavong and Khloe Annatte Tritt.

Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris officiated by Fr. Eugene Luke O.S.B.. Burial will follow in Ellsworth Cemetery near Midway, Arkansas under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Nah Oubay, Dennis B. Tritt, Michael Johnson, Michael Schaffer, David Schaffer & Ted Tritt
