Alyce Marion Hewett Mork of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away April 14, 2012. She was born on June 29, 1926 in Lewisville, Arkansas to the late Francis and Alyce Hewett.

Marion is survived by three daughters, Lynn (David) Wood of Stuttgart; Gail Laster of Little Rock; and Robin Kaye Laster-Wilson of Bryant; grandchildren, Kyle (Simone) Wood; Amy (Jon) Watson; Matt Wood; Shane (Natalie) Adkins and Jill (Jamey) Rough; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rhiannon, Rylie, Taylor, Spencer, Kaylee, Evan, Callie and Madison and her dog and best friend, Mindy.

Marion was a member of St. Andrew's Methodist Church and after becoming disabled, looked forward to watching Joel Osteen and other television evangelists. Marion, along with her parents, owned and operated Alyce-Francis Cleaners for over 60 years. She was a faithful member of the Billy Graham Association. She had a great love for animals and her dog, Mindy, was by her side until the end.

Services are under the direction of Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800. A graveside service is scheduled for April 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park with Robbie Horne conducting the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210 or the music ministry of the First Baptist Church, 2115 S. Prairie, Stuttgart, Arkansas 72160.

Marion was a very special person. She was Mary's best friend besides being her boss. When I talked to Marion it was always her family concerns first , then her dogs were like her children also. She was a very unselfish person. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are for the entire family. Sandy(Mary's daughter in law)
