Thanks so much for this beautiful video and site. I am anxious to share it with my children so they can know my extended family better.
Like so many others, I remember Jeanie with a smile for everyone-such a happy and giving person!
I have cherished childhood memories visiting Grandma & Grandpa Layes and all of our aunts, uncles and cousins coming over. Aunt Jeanie was always so warm and welcoming to us. Always a big smile & hug-she helped us feel very loved.
It was a treasure for me to see you all again. Know you and your family will continue to be in our hearts and prayers.
Much love, Cyndi
Hello,
Your video brought back many memories of your family--my young cousins, Aunt & Uncle--and what wonderful memories they are! Thanks to whoever worked so hard to create it..
It looks like you guys were amazing grandparents--and had a lot of fun with it! I am so glad--we are not grandparents yet, although way overdue...
Uncle Ronny, I will never forget the twinkle in both your eyes, the smiles on your faces--or the silky southern drawl in your voices when you spoke. It always felt like you loved us. Thank you for that.
I love you both very much.
Laura Jane
I am Laura (Roos) Carroll's daughter and wanted to just let you know that I am very sorry to hear of your loss. You both were so nice to us when we visited in 1993. All of us kids running around everywhere was probably a bit much to handle, but we had a great time and loved meeting more of our extended family.
Be strong. God loves you. Christ lives.
