Arvel Leroy Jones, 74, of Jonesboro went to be with the Lord on March 13, 2012. Mr. Jones was retired from Hytrol Conveyer Co. and was of the Baptist faith.
He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Alice; two brothers, Lawrence and Jerome Jones; four sisters, Marylou Stevens, Glenda Moman, Gail Herndon and Betty Kirksey all of Jonesboro; and many more extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Marty Russell officiating.
Pallbearers will include Vernon, Brandon and Tommy Stevens, Tracy and Jamie Jones, and William Brown.
