Bertha (Slaughter) Rumbach passed away to meet the Lord on March 12, 2012. Bertha was 67 years old and lived in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Born to H.B. and Madelyn Slaughter. She graduated from Mt. Saint Mary's in 1962. She also was a cosmetologist. She was a member of Quachita Decorative Artists and Designing Women. She was active in the Garland County EHC and Cooks R Us.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Rumbach; daughter, Jenny McKay; sons, James (Bubba) Rumbach and Jerry Rumbach.
Preceded in death by John David Rumbach and Joseph Rumbach.
Bertha was a devoted wife and mother. She had five children; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Woodlands Presbyterian Church, 11 Ecuestre Drive, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. (behind Woodlands Auditorium).

So sorry to read about Bertha, remember some good times with her and Brenda. My heart goes out to her children and family. She will be missed.

I knew Bertha from first grade to our high school graduation. She was fun loving and always laughing. She introduced me to my first boy friend. We got into trouble together, laughed together. Bertha was a great friend a great wife and a great mom. I will miss her.

I always will remember her as a friendly, sweet girl.
She was so kind to me when my mother passed away, and I will always remember her for her kindness.

Bertha and I attended Mt. St. Mary's and graduated in 1962. I remember her well as a great high school friend. My condolences to her family as I know she will be greatly missed by you and by all of her friends.
Bertha and I graduated from Mount St. Mary together. I remember her as always having a smile on her face....a happy, upbeat, sweet girl.
