Shirley was the big sister I never had. There are so many wonderful childhood memories I will keep forever. I only wish we had remained close in our later years. We did have a wonderful lunch not too long ago. I will treasure that time together when everything seemed so right. I share the grief of both families.

My prayers go out for Shirley Fern's family. (There were other Shirleys in our class and I really liked adding the "Fern". She was a dear friend when we were in high school together. How she wanted everything to be just perfect when Harold came home on weekends.
We will see her again when we all get to heaven.

R.I.P. my sweet dear friend Shirley. I'll never forget the times you walked over to my house and we sat and talked and talked and talked. I loved you from the day I met you. I know now that you are out of all the pain and misery you suffered in this life, and now you have a perfect body one just like Christ. I will pay for Harold for I know he is left behind, and he will be the one hurting, I'm rejoicing you made the cross over, but it is the ones left behind that are left witha broken heart. I will never forget you. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Some sweet day I'll will see you again and we will have that great reunion in Heaven. Will miss you my Sister in Christ.
