H.K. Bridges Jr, 83, of Paris Arkansas died November 27, 2011 in Paris. He was born October 11, 1928 to Henry King Bridges, Sr. and Lelah Arbell Reames Bridges in Logan County, Arkansas. He was a truck driver, deputy Sheriff and car salesman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry King Bridges Sr. and Lelah Bridges, four sisters, Evelyn Hudson of Paris, Arkansas, Vivian Goodson of Paris, Arkansas, Rose Melton of Paris, Arkansas and Raydeen Carlos of Newark, California, two brothers, Marion Bridges of Paris and Kenneth Bridges of Little Rock, Ar. and nephews Clifford Hudson and Michael Murry.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Anna Irene Bridges, two daughters, Karen Hartung and her husband Frank of Caruthersville, Missouri and Carol Whitman and her husband Frank of Paris, Arkansas, three grandsons, William Powers of Ozark, Arkansas., Nathaniel (Nate) Hartung of Caruthersville, Missouri and Brandon Hartung of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Four great grand children and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be at Roller Funeral Chapel on Wednesday Nov. 30, 2011 from 12:00 2:00 p.m.
Funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 2:00 P.M. at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial in Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be William Powers, Nathaniel Hartung, Brandon Hartung, Lyndell Goodson, Joe Murry and Terry Harless

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of H.K's family. I myself did not know him very well, but if he was anythng lke my father in law, Marion, he was a very good guy. So let God wrap you in his arms and hold you during this sad time. Just try to remember he will have no more suffering here on earth, and he has gone to be with some of his other family members, which I am sure he has missed! Love you all!
