of Mountain View, AR

August 8, 1924 - July 25, 2011

Jeanette Bundy Collins left this life for her eternal reward on July 25th, 2011 in Batesville, Arkansas.

She was born to Manville and Helen Bundy on August 8, 1924 in Nampa, Idaho.

She spent much of her early life in the Pacific Northwest, where she met and married Claud Collins in 1959 and moved to Spokane, Washington. Later they moved to Omaha, Nebraska, and when Claud died in 1994 she moved to Superior, Nebraska, and felt God called her to move to Mountain View in 2009. She loved the churches, music, beauty, and the people of this area.

Jeanette was raised on working cattle ranches, where she learned to ride, rope, and break wild horses, and developed a love for the outdoors. She also loved flowers, gardening, scenic travel, and sharing God's Word with others.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Don and Claud, and her brother Jay.

She is survived by her sister Palma Horton of Olympia, Washington, stepson Ed Collins and wife Nancy of Oklahoma City, stepdaughter Thurlene Anderson and husband Craig, of Los Angeles, sister-in-law Grace Hansen and husband Don from Omaha, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Thursday, July 28th, 2011 at the Evangelistic Center in Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Tommy Williams officiating. You may share your memories of her online at the Roller-Coffman Funeral Homes website.
