Dear Family, I had the opportunity to see Uncle Dowell at Christmas, even thought he was not awake, I sang Christmas songs to him, he knew I was there, he opened his eyes for a moment and I told him who I was. I said good bye for now to him then. I know that he and mother are having a long visit today as with the rest of the family. My prayers are with you for you sorrow for now! What a "Glad Reunion Day" we will have again with him and the rest who are waiting for us. May the Lord lighten your sorrow at this time, I love all of you!

I am so sorry to hear of Dowell's passing. He was such a sweet person and will be missed by everyone, but I'm sure especially by all of you. I remember him coming to revivals at our church(Gaylor-Shady Grove) and testifying for the Lord and getting happy! Oh, how I got a blessing from his testimonies! Just think of how he's shouting God's praises in Heaven right now! May God bless all of you.
