Minnie Marie King was born February 11, 1925 to Ambers and Helen (Merrill) Herrington.
Minnie was a member of the Highway 5 Church of Christ in Mountain View, Arkansas and worked for Southwestern Bell for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Henry and Ike Herrington; three sisters, Ruby Pettit, Jerry Toarmina and Fannye McNeil and two husband Jurd Aulds and Johnnie King.
She is survived by one sister, Helen Clearwater of Lakeworth, FL; a sister-in-law, Norma Herrington of Mountain View; step-daughter, Virginia Tate of Dallas, TX; one granddaughter, Karla and husband Robert Mather; one grandson, Dowyn Tate, two great-granddaughters, Darian and Hailey Mather all of Dallas, TX and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation is 4 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View with Bro. Ed Yates and Bro. Loyd Barry officiating and interment in Memory Gardens, Corpus Christi, Texas.
Honorary pallbearers are Dale Whitfield, Mike Herrington, Curtis Scribner, Bobby Halpain, Josh Halpain, Johnny Halpain, Virgil Treadway, Junious Steward, Darrell Rollans, Dairl Martin, Bill McAlister and Pete Asbridge.

I'll miss "Aunt Minnie" and could never thank her enough for what did for my parents.
