Ruth Hopper Hardaway, 100, of Mountain View entered into rest on October 7, 2010 in Batesville.
Ruth was born July 31, 1910 in Calloway County, Missouri to Samuel and Pansy (Garver) Hopper. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Timbo and was a nurse's aide at Columbia Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Caston and husband Clesson of Onia; daughter-in-law, June Wendt of Fayetteville, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Lewis, Robert, David, Fred and Jim Caston, Liz Black, Susan Katcher, Rebecca Wendt and Samuel Wendt and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Pansy Hopper; her husband, Jesse Hardaway; son, Bill Wendt and six brothers and three sisters.
There is no visitation. Mrs. Hardaway was cremated under the direction of Roller Coffman Funeral Home, Mountain View. The family will inter her remains in Williamsburg, Missouri.

Mary and family,
I will always remember Mrs. Ruth as having a smile on her face and a pleasant word for everyone. She will be missed, and was always a ray of sunshine. I pray God's blessings upon all of you.
