Edith, Diane, Harold, Johnny and families,
John and Edith have always been just like another set of parents to me. I will forever cherish all the times we had at my Mom and Dad's visiting and me, Edith and Mom playing yahtzee while the men folk talked in the living room; and the times up at their house as well. Edith, I don't know what you're going through, but am here for you; and you kids; I do know what you all are going through and am here for any of you anytime you need to talk. John fought a good, long fight, but God saw that his suffering needed to end and that he was ready to come home to Heaven. May God bless you is my prayer, and know that I love all of you. Now he's in Heaven with my Mom and Dad, and oh what a glorious day when we get to see our Lord and them again!

Dear Edith and family,
We are so sorry we were unable to be with you today. We will miss John's steady calm and his great stories. It was always easy to see why Lillie adored her brother so. You all are, and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Donna, Daniel and family

Just allow the Lord to carry you during you time of need. You have many friends and family that are praying for you. John loved each and every one of you and that is such a blessing.
