February 14, 1947 - July 6, 2010

Lonnie Joshua Depew was born Feb. 14th, 1947 at Sugar Hill to Jim Depew and Bertha Lawrence Depew.

Lonnie went home to be the Lord July 6th, 2010 at the age of 63. He was retired from the Stone County Road Department; he was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie Wayne and Samantha Depew of Marion; daughter-in-law, Mandy McDaniel of Mtn. View; one sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Terry Haynes of DeQueen; five grandchildren, Samantha, Cheyenne and Joshua Depew and Jacob and Willow McDaniel all of Mtn. View; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Bertha Depew; his wife, Lola Depew; grandparents, Bill and Joann Depew and Alvin and Leonna Lawrence; two sons, Bill Depew and Michael Shane McDaniel; brothers, Carl and Levi; three sisters, Nona Faye Jones, Geneva Zinn and Bernice Day.

Funeral services will be held at Vine Ave Baptist Church, Friday, July 9th at 2 p.m. Bro. Gary Don Fletcher and Bro. Randy Zinn will officiate. He will be laid to rest in Fox Cemetery, Fox, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Joshua Depew, Dustin Balentine, Shawn Woody, Chris Day, John Nesbitt and Jessie Hutchins. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Branscum, Shane Branscum and Greg Zinn.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
