Lincoln Martin Hafner, 90, resident of Big Flat, passed away peacefully March 12th, 2010. He was born July 26, 1919, one of seven children to the late Jacob and Emma Hafner of Charlotte, Tennessee. Lincoln was the devoted husband of Lola Rose for over 66 years.
Lincoln will forever be remembered by his children, Charles Hafner, Tommy Hafner, Phillip Hafner and Carolyn Kendall, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, along with countless other friends and family whom blessed to know him.
Lincoln was a follower of Christ who worshiped with the Big Flat Church of Christ. He was a carpenter by trade who took pride in the quality of his work.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Rose; a son, Junior Hafner; one granddaughter, Kari Anne Treat and one great-grandson Brent Hafner.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service Monday March 15th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Big Flat Church of Christ.
Bro. Roger Hopper will officiate with interment in Big Flat Cemetery, Big Flat, Arkansas. Pallbearers are grandsons and great-grandsons; Charles Hafner, Jr., Martin Hafner, Tobey Treat, Rodney Beaver, Shane Bailey and Joseph Harris. Honorary pallbearers are Shawn Shelton and Charles Schmitt.
