Adrian Edmonds Parks, 90, of Mtn. View entered into rest on March 8, 2010 in Little Rock.
Adrian was born March 25, 1919 in Eddyville, Kentucky to Isaac Newton Parks and Della Ada (Edmonds) Parks.
He was a member of the Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church. He was a retired truck driver and loving husband father, grandfather, son and brother. He was a US Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by sons Paul Parks of Mtn. View, David Parks of Cave City, Bane Goodpastor of Paylow, Ind.; daughters Mary Richie of Mtn. View, Christine Richie of Pleasant Grove, Betty Horton of Sylamore; sister Earnstine Barrett of Eddyville, Ky; seventeen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Vada; daughter Veronica Gillet; brother Haskell Parks and one granddaughter Haley Elizabeth Brewer.
Visitation is 6 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View with Bro. Truman Bullard officiating and interment in Case/East Richwoods Cemetery. Pallbearers were Adam, Joey and Matthew Parks, Jason and timothy Richie andJunior Horton. Honorary pallbearers were Haskell, Corey and Bill Richie.
